According to the Virginia Vineyards Association, Virginia has 150 wine producers and 262 vineyards, making it fifth in wine production behind California, Washington, Oregon and New York.
Virginia has been cited by Travel + Leisure magazine as"One of Five Up-and-Coming Wine Regions in the World.
